This fabulous, quint-essentially-Jeffree-Star brush collection was released on 05 February, much to the excitement of Jeffree fans everywhere. These seven iconic, custom brushes kick ass and take names.
This paraben-free face mask combines Matcha Tea and Kaolin Clay in a creamy texture aimed at purifying, refreshing, mattifying and cleaning the skin.
When I applied the mask I felt a tingling sensation in some places on my face which made me worry that it was too intense and that it could be damaging. However, once the tingling subsided, the mask was as comfortable as any other clay mask. The smell is pleasant but not too overpowering of Matcha.
It took quite a while to rinse off even though I don’t think the layer I applied was too thick. My face felt refreshed and definitely clean and clear. It appeared mattified and my moisturiser absorbed easily. After an hour or so, I did have some itchy patches on my cheek, so I added more moisturiser and hope it won’t be dry in the coming days.
All in all, it was a nice mask to use, though I will wait to see if there are any longer-lasting benefits as promised on the packaging.
Have you tried this mask yet? Have you experienced any side effects?
2018 was a year of lots of makeup newness for me, so many new and fantastic products and also networking with amazing bloggers and Instagrammers in Switzerland and globally. My beauty highlight was seeing Jeffree Star at the launch of his line here in Switzerland. I didn’t get to meet him but I got to watch him while meeting those who got tickets; he was kind, friendly and of course, absolutely beautiful. Even though I didn’t wear makeup as often as I would have liked, I did have a few go-to products that I used regularly: View Post
The fabulous Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Lip Liners were released in October and are available in 17 gorgeous shades. These are extremely pigmented, long lasting, creamy and the shades match up perfectly with your favourite Velour Liquid Lipsticks. Retailing for USD16 or CHF21.90 on BeautyBay.com recently got my hands on a few favourite shades in the collection, Unicorn Blood, Anna Nicole, Allegedly and Dominatrix.
It comes in classic-Jeffree Star-pink, sharpen-able pencil design with a majestic style gold lid to protect the nib. It definitely looks expensive for a liner, though the lid being a light plastic, makes it feel cheapish.
These lip liners are… oh so CREAMY!
These are one swipe coverage, and the formula is insane!!! It feels like butter, which doesn’t budge after it dries down. It definitely made the lipstick last longer than it usually would and prevents bleeding.
I would definitely repurchase these liners, and am considering what other shades to get as we speak! If you are a JSC fan, then you know you are getting a quality product.
Is anyone else picking some of these up, and if you have what do you think of them!? Let me know in the comments.
**I originally wrote this post in October when the liners were first released and I got my first deliveries from Beauty Bay and JSC, but as my life became a roller coaster, I didn’t get to publish this and a few other posts that I have in drafts.
