IMG_0952Meet Lejla Agusi, the talented beautician behind waxing and nail salon, Perfect Brows & More. At the tender age of 23, Lejla opened her salon in January 2015, conveniently located near the Quellenstrasse tram stop (trams 3, 4, 13 and  17). As the name suggests, Lejla and her partner, Philomena Anz, specialise in brow shaping and waxing as well as offering manicures, pedicures, permanent hair removal with Diodenlaser and other waxing services. Brushes That Make Your Products Go Further? Oval Brush Review

The  Oval Brushes Multipurpose Set, which contains 10 brushes (4 large oval, 4 small oval and 2 round) for just CHF39.95. View Post

Beauty box review: Sophistiqué.

The SOPHISTIQUÉ beauty box launched recently offering five high-end quality cosmetic products in original or travel size.  The box that it comes in is lovely, with the products nestled between two silky pillows along with the info booklet and a welcome card.

Unlike Pink Box and similar monthly beauty boxes, this quarterly luxury box costs CHF75.00. Here’s what I thought of the contents: img_2156 View Post

Rapperswil: Blues’n’Jazz Festival

June 29–July 2, 2017

Four days, three stages with Lake Zurich providing a beautiful background; all this and more to be found at the 2017 blues’n’jazz Festival. This year’s headline acts are Bob Geldof, Jan Delay and Bernese band Züri West.

Along with the Swiss artists, international musicians regularly perform at blues’n’jazz and this year is no exception. Whilst enjoying the great music, visitors can stroll along the lakeside promenade, indulge in the variety of food and drink on offer at the market stalls and explore picturesque town of Rapperswil.
